જવાબ : Most of the students face the problem of retention. They feel that they read a lot but they hardly remember anything According to Dr.Mansuri, there is no fixed method of improving retention or memory power.

There are various learning styles. Learners / Children / Students learn by listening, reading, writing, drawing flow charts and diagrams, discussing topics, and reflective thinking. Students should try to identify which of the different styles suits them best for different subjects.

 While writing an essay, the learners brainstorm ideas, create a web, arrange the ideas logically, and then construct meaningful sentences Thus the students adopt more than one styles of learning which in turn help them to remember for a longer duration This can help the students improve their retention Students should not take brain tonics.


Dr. Mackey’s Views on Sharing

Dr. Mackey is a professor working at the University of Edinburgh. He believes that both children and parents are responsible if sharing of views and ideas is missing. He says that sharing brings or unites the family together. It is like glue.

He has observed that adolescents or teenagers find it uncomfortable to share all their views, and details, and even their problems related to their lives. He advises the parents that they must try to understand their children’s problems and decide how to respond to the sharing of their children.

 He believes that negative responses and preaching of the parents discourage the children to share their views and problems with the parents He says that children should try to read and understand the intention of their parents. Sharing always solves the problem. So parents should encourage their children to share their views ideas and problems with them.
